The Story Behind Her …

It all began with that look …TheGirlsColour
An image burnt into my thoughts that I needed to pursue …
I wanted a certain sex appeal, I wanted an empowering image …

Strong is beautiful …
Strong is empowering …
Strong is something to strive for, relate to and embody …

Women would want to look like her …
Guys would want to sleep with her …

That’s a joke  …
Well, actually not really …

Who is she?  Where did she come from?

The artist and creator of the Fight Gone MAD logo is not an official part of our team but in my opinion is as big an influence to the Fight Gone MAD brand as any. Her name is Jennifer Fong.  When ever I am able to give her a shout out and show my appreciation I love to do so. A couple years ago I set out with an image in mind, an image I wanted to represent a new idea. Edgy and empowering, subtle but strong and also beautiful in a way.  I knew I needed something impressive to bring to my business partner. I knew it needed to be unique and engaging to explain this MAD idea.

After the countless word combinations I threw at google I came across a 19 year old art student based in San Diego California.  Google images steered me towards her blog titled “Mind-Sketch” which embodied the most awesome personality intertwined into every design. The Fight Gone MAD logo is an adaptation to one of her original designs called “Fighter”. I explained to her our concept and the image I had stuck in my head.  It is almost as if she knew exactly what I was thinking as she tweaked her original to fit our brand.

Upon completion I sat down with my good friend and business partner Kirk Dewaele. I explained to him this MAD idea how I believed it was our future.

With his loyal support Fight Gone MAD was born.

Thank you Jennifer. Thank you Kirk.

I meant to asked when I first joined, why the picture of the girl and how was she “born”. Now, 7 or 8 classes later, I stumbled into your story. I love it! What an amazing way/idea to start a business. Most people that go into business, leave the “branding/logo” for the end, at least that is what we did (my husband’s business). I am glad I stumbled into the story now, because I get it. I know from participating in your classes, that this is totally different. Just like the girl/the logo, your program is unique. At first and even sometimes I feel intimidated, but it is totally out of fear. I love the challenge. Having said this, I wish you and your partner much success in your business and in the franchising. I am impress and I will totally miss your classes when my seriies is up. Thank you
